IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please make sure that the Wall Charger to charge the gimbal supports 5V or 9V output. Smooth 5S uses ZY CAMI App or StaCam APP for Recording. User permissions required for the Android cellphone include WIFI (for signing in, firmware update, and video templates), Bluetooth (for connecting the gimbal), Smartphone Camera/Microphone (for video filming), Cellphone Storage (for storing video clips), and Location (built into Android's Bluetooth, not the apps).

Combo version comes with one Magnetic Light, offering 3 times brighter illumination, a 3-axis structure, and powerful motors for an intuitive panel and smartphone compatibility.

The Smooth 5S supports a payload of 150 to 300 grams, with a width of 50 to 90 mm and a thickness of 6.9 to 10mm. To resolve a slightly un-level issue, check the smartphone's mounting and perform Auto Calibration in the ZY CAMI app or use the Level Trim function in the PC Zhiyun Upgrade/Calibration Tool.

If the gimbal is not charging, ensure the wall charger supports 5V or 9V output and the PD protocol, and try a different Type-C cable. Before powering on the Smooth 5S, unlock all three axes, expand the gimbal, and mount the smartphone, ensuring it is well-balanced.

The Smooth 5S is compatible with the ZY CAMI App and StaCam APP for recording, with the latter offering Follow Focus functionality.

Available in Gray Combo and White Combo versions, the Smooth 5S Combo includes the gimbal, mini tripod, magnetic fill light (one in Combo), Zhiyun VIP card, and a protective carrying bag. The standard version comes without the fill light and carrying bag.
